Ariana Grande channeled her inner-dominatrix at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards.
.
Clevver’s Trophy Life is here to break down the star’s entire uncharacteristically sexy ensemble. The “Break Free” singer hit the red carpet of MTV’s biggest night in an all black leather Moschino number, and we’re sort of surprised she didn’t have any whips or chains on her to finish it off. This girl looks hot and we’re thinking that maybe she was listening to Rihanna’s “S&M” when she picked out the style? It’s totally VMA appropriate!
Keeping with the dominatrix feel, Ariana was rocking some thigh high leather boots. It’s pretty warm here in L.A., so she is totally going for the look. And even if she is sweatin’, girl is putting on a good front. We’re digging the gold zippers and hardware all over the outfit, and per the usual, Miss Grande rocked a fresh face, featuring a cool, trendy cat-lined eye in the makeup department.
We want to compare this to the fashion that Ariana wore last year, it’s a TOTAL 180. Minus her signature long and smoothed hairstyle, DUH! Also, I think we’ve seen that bold Moschino belt before, it’s sort of like the one Demi Lovato was wearing at the Teen Choice Awards a couple weeks ago. Watch out, world!
Alright, what we want to know from you – are you a fan of Ariana’s switched up look as she traded in her old school florals for leather?
